Mordheim Five Crystals, Four Discovered: Revisit the Pickup Locations

Short answer
In the August 2020 Sisters mission report, revisiting a missed pickup location resolved the five-collected, four-discovered mismatch. The original player confirmed recovery on the first turn after loading. This was a community outcome, not an official patch.
Scope: Sisters of Sigmar Act 2-1 report. Exact software build was not established.

The two counters disagreed
TheUnderDog135 had collected all five crystals but only four were registered as discovered. The missing objective prevented completion of a mission the player had already repeated.
Counting items was therefore not the same check as completing discovery. Do not throw away another attempt before comparing both conditions.
The response that worked
Paranoia suggested returning to the pickup positions to find the discovery area that had not registered.
- Keep the existing mission state.
- Return units to the original pickup locations.
- Move into each location rather than checking only from pickup range.
- Watch for the missing discovery registration.
What the player confirmed
TheUnderDog135 said they had tried revisiting but missed one location. On loading again, they found it and resolved the problem on the first turn. DonCarlos also reported encountering it and endorsed retriggering discovery.
Reloading occurred in the successful account. That does not prove reloading resets collision boxes or repairs a database; the decisive reported action was finding the missed location.
Keep the explanation at the evidence level
Paranoia proposed that spawning on an item or collecting from outside its discovery area explained the mismatch. That is a named community explanation, not developer code analysis.
The thread also includes a mission-ending suggestion involving a special character. Do not confuse it with the successful objective-completion route. No final official repair version was established.
